High Tech Tayside Firm achieves SME Partner Status with Global Giant Sony Tayside firm Vision Sound and Light (VSL) today announced that they had been awarded SME Focus membership status with video to computer giant Sony UK Limited. Building on earlier accreditation with companies such as Fujitsu Siemens Computers, Panasonic and Acer Technolgy, VSL, Based in Dundee, offer presentation, broadcast and IT solutions to businesses Local Authority Education departments and Universities across Scotland. VSL was founded in January 2004 and building on the knowledge of audio visual and broadcast solutions, the new VSL team recognise the importance of technology within their sectors and now, as a Certified Partner member with Sony, have a product line up and back up support which is not offered by most other AV and ICT supply companies. Gary Langlands MD of VSL comments, "As Global technology suppliers such as Sony, continue to offer a range of integrated solutions for business to business and consumer applications, VSL aim to ensure we partner the best providers, allowing us to gain maximum benefit for our customers, thereby strengthening the relationships we have up and down the supply chain. We are delighted that after such a short space of time, Sony have granted us this important accreditation as their technology offering is extremely broad from digital camera technology to Videoconferencing, data projectors and Plasma for business or home cinema use, through to their fabulous Vaio computer range, Sony are leaders in so many fields. " Sony UK have ambitious growth plans for their UK market share and have launched an onslaught on the various markets, with new models, new technology and all backed with a new campaign "You make it Sony". We want to return the compliment by bringing the latest audio visual and IT technology to Tayside.
